Take your GTX front end further with the MHC+ GTX Adjustable Front Aero Add On for the F87 M2 & M2 Competition, the adjustable lower section of the two-piece GTX front splitter system. Manufactured from 100% pre-preg (“dry”) carbon fibre, it mounts to the GTX front splitter and extends the front aero a further 20–50mm forward, letting you set front-end aggression and aerodynamic balance exactly where you want it.

Please note: this is an add-on. The MHC+ GTX Front Splitter (M2 N55 or M2 Competition S55 version) is required and is sold separately, or buy both together as part of the complete MHC+ GTX Aero Kit.

The GTX system is modular by design. Whether you bought your splitter last week or last year, the mounting provision is already there – this add-on bolts straight to it with the supplied billets, threaded uppers and M6 hardware. Nothing on the original splitter needs modifying.

Fitment & Installation

Fits using: supplied fitting billets, bonded threaded uppers and M6 nuts and bolts, plus pre-applied automotive-grade adhesive tape

Tools required – items marked (supplied) are included in the box:

• Drill
• 6.5mm drill bit (supplied) – lower mounting holes
• 2.5mm drill bit (supplied)
• PZ2 driver bit (supplied)
• 10mm socket and 10mm spanner – M6 hardware
• Panel wipe or IPA and lint-free cloths (alcohol wipes supplied)
• Masking tape
• Trim removal tools
• Ramps, or a jack and axle stands

Time to fit: 90 minutes (complete splitter assembly, bumper off)
Difficulty: Moderate – drilling and bumper removal required

Requires removal of the front bumper to fit. The bumper comes off with the upper splitter attached, the assembly is built up on the bench, then the whole thing goes back on the car.

The 90 minutes covers the full job including bumper removal and refitting.

All required fixings and consumables are supplied. Best fitted indoors, above 15°C, on a clean, dry car – trial fit before committing any adhesive tape. A full step-by-step GTX fitting guide is available, and professional installation is recommended for the best possible result.
